(Maricopa) The Maricopa High School Marching Rams are partnering up with the City of Maricopa to host a Mud Run Preview on Thursday, October 11 from 3-5 PM. This exciting event is open to all MUSD staff members and their families to experience Copper Sky’s obstacle course at a reduced cost two days before the Mud Run on Saturday, October 13. Entry for the Mud Run Preview costs $10 for adults, $5 for your students and will allow you to experience the course. The entry fee can be paid in cash at the time of the event and the attached waiver must be completed. If you find you enjoyed the course and wanted to try it again, you could still sign up for the Mud Run Competitive or Recreational Heats on Saturday, October 13.

If you would like to participate, all you need to do is attend the event from 3-5 PM on Thursday, October 11! Consider bringing gloves and wearing old shoes for the run. Think about bringing a towel for cleanup and a change of clothes for after the run. If you have eyeglasses or choose to bring protective eyewear, they must be secured to prevent any loss.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the Maricopa High School Marching Rams as we gather funds to represent Arizona in the 2019 National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C. The Marching Rams will open the Mud Run Recreational Heats with a performance at 8 AM on Saturday, October 13 before we travel to Tucson for competition in University of Arizona’s Band Day.

Assistant Marching Band Director Roger Wagner, stated, “We are really excited about this partnership and our Band students hope to see you out there!”
