The Ronald McDonald House Charities annually offers the African American Future Achievers Scholarship to high school seniors. Unfortunately, participation and application for this scholarship has dwindled so low over the last few years, that the charity is considering cutting the funding.

Please encourage all African American high school seniors to apply at http://www.aim.applyists.net/RMHC by early January 2017. I also ask that you pass it to anyone else you believe may benefit from this opportunity.

Scholarship deadlines and eligibility requirements vary. If you need a letter of recommendation, please contact your counselor. Please note: letters of recommendation need a 2 week advance notice.

2016 Employment Law Scholarship. This scholarship is now available to any student who will be attending an accredited college or university by Spring 2017 and have plans of attending law school in the future or are currently attending law school.

Arizona Universities Financial Literacy Need-Based Scholarship Program
Arizona's 3 main universities in conjunction with "Live the Solution" (non-profit org) are launching "AZ Earn to Learn." Student's families must earn less than 200% of the federal poverty level. Participants must participate in a special individual savings plan program.

Horatio Alger Scholarship

Must be planning to enter college no later than the fall after graduation. Susan G. Komen Cure
Must have lost a parent/guardian to breast cancer or must be a breast cancer survivor diagnosed at 25 years or younger. Must have a minimum unweighted 2.8 GPA, be a US citizen or a documented permanent resident. Never been subject to any disciplinary action by any institution or entity, including but not limited to any educational or law enforcement agency. Great Clips Scholarships
Current students, high school students and anyone interested in cosmetology or barbering as a career can apply for a scholarship through the Alice Madden Barton Scholarship program. These scholarships can be used at any cosmetology or barbering school. CAC FACULTY SCHOLARSHIP: New and returning students
CAC FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS - The purpose of CAC Foundation Scholarships is to assist students enrolled at Central Arizona College in achieving their educational goals. The Foundation receives financial gifts and real property from individuals and organizations to fund these scholarships.
